Askew One is the alias of Elliot O'Donnell, a New Zealand-born artist currently based in Portland, Oregon. Emerging from the graffiti scene in Auckland in the 1990s, he has developed a practice that spans large-scale murals, studio painting, and digital work. His style is characterized by bold color palettes, fluid abstract forms, and a mastery of aerosol technique that reflects decades of letterform study. Askew One is a founding member of the internationally recognized graffiti crews TMD and MSK. His murals and gallery works have been exhibited and commissioned worldwide.
